‘Two-time High One’ winner Hanjin Sun leaps to career-high world No. 98

After winning back-to-back titles on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour’s Hiwon Resort Women’s Open, Sokcho native Han Jin-sun (26-Kakao VX) has broken into the top 100 for the first time in her career.

In the World Women’s Golf Rankings, released today, Han moved up 25 spots to No. 98 from last week’s No. 123, a new personal best in the category. Her previous best ranking was 110th.

Han shaved seven strokes off her score in the final round of the tournament on Sept. 20 at Haiwon Country Club (Par 72) in Jeongseon, South Korea, led by two shot eagles. Finishing with a final total of 14-under-par 274, Han finished with the lowest score of the tournament (previously held by Lim Hee-jung at 13-under-par in 2019) and a thrilling upset victory.안전놀이터
