The Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour has confirmed and announced the schedule for the 2023 season. The prize money is the largest ever, with a total of 31.1 billion won.
On the 31st, the KLPGA held a board of directors meeting at the association’s conference room in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and announced the 2023 season schedule and prize money. A total of 32 events will be held this season. The average prize money per tournament is 970 million won.

The tournament with the most prize money is the Hanwha Classic held in August. Hanwha Classic increased the prize money from 1.4 billion won last year (2022) to 1.667 billion won this year.
There are 14 out of 32 tournaments with a total prize pool of over 1 billion won. There are 9 tournaments with total prize money of 1.2 billion won or more.
The KLPGA tour this season has already started. The stage was the Hana Financial Group Singapore Women’s Open held in Singapore last December. The first tournament to be held this year is the Lotte Rental Women’s Open, which will be held in Jeju Island on April 6. The final game of the season is the SK Shielders/SK Telecom Championship held in November.
