Kim Min-seon (24, Korea University) won three gold medals at the 2023 Lake Placid Winter Universiade. Kim Min-seon won first place (38.53 seconds) in the women’s 500m speed skating held at the Olympic Center Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid, New York, USA on the 20th. The 500m is Kim Min-sun’s main event. Although she fell short of her personal record (36.96) set last December as the field is outdoors, she comfortably edged Japan’s Kumagai Moe (39.41), who finished second.
