What if Jack Grealish had headed to Tottenham Hotspur?

Villa legend Agbonlahor added: “At the time, he thought Tottenham was a great club and the transfer was close. “Now I think he has to thank Levy. Now you can compare Tottenham to Man City, and you can compare Villa to Tottenham.”

“For whatever reason, it didn’t happen, and I think it’s something that Grealish will say in 10 years’ time, ‘I thank God that it didn’t happen’. I’m sure Villa and City are grateful too,” he joked.

City spent an astronomical amount of money to acquire Griezmann in 2021. It was a City club record and the highest transfer fee in EPL history. In need of a legitimate striker, City passed up Harry Kane to add to their arsenal.
