Pittsburgh’s Korean-American slugger in Major League Baseball (MLB), Ji-Man Choi, has been hitting hard in a Triple-A game.

Choi has recently been playing for the Indianapolis Indians, Pittsburgh’s Triple-A affiliate, as part of his rehabilitation. On May 5 (KST), he played against the Memphis Redbirds of the St. Louis Cardinals at Victory Field in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Starting in the No. 3 spot in the lineup, Choi went 2-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Choi made his presence felt in the first inning. With one out in the first inning, he hit a two-run home run to right-center field off of Brandon Coma.

In the third inning, he reached on an infield single and scored on the next batter’s home run. After striking out in the fourth and sixth innings, Choi ended the game with a grounder to second base in his final at-bat in the eighth. Indianapolis won the game 8-5.

Choi, who hit his first home run in Triple-A on April 29, activated his third home run in the past day, giving him enough of a confidence boost ahead of his return to the big leagues.

Choi has been on the 60-day disabled list with an Achilles tendon injury in his left foot since April 14 against St. Louis. He started a rehab assignment on April 23 to get his body back in shape.아톰카지노

He played in three Double-A games on July 26 before moving to Triple-A on July 29 to get up to speed. In five Triple-A games, he batted .400 (8-for-20) with three home runs and nine RBIs.
