The world’s best striker, Elling Holland (23, Man City), has revealed what he would be if he didn’t play football.
“Elling Holland has spoken about what he would have done if he hadn’t played football,” the UK’s Sports Bible reported on 27 July.메이저사이트
Holland, who joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 2022-2023 season, has “bombed” the Premier League in his first season. He scored a multi-goal performance against West Ham United in the first round of the league without much of an adjustment period, and has now scored 36 goals and provided eight assists in 35 league appearances, totalling 44 attacking points.
Holland’s father, Alfie Holland, was also a footballer. He played for Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, and Manchester City as a defender or central midfielder. He is a very decisive player and seems to be a footballer through and through.
We asked him what he would be like if he didn’t play football, and he answered the question himself.
“I expected to have a decent season, but I didn’t expect it to be this good, it’s been a fantastic season and I’m happy,” Holland said of his first season at City.
“I would have been a welder or a farmer,” he said when asked what he would have done if he wasn’t a footballer.
Indeed, Holland has often posted pictures on his social media accounts of himself farming alongside his father, Alfie. He was a skilled wood chopper and worked on a potato farm.
Meanwhile, back in 2020, Holland was asked the same question. His answer was slightly different: “A rapper, or a farmer,” he said, choosing musician over welder.
